Light. Water. Culture.
Protecting the Amazon by empowering its guardians.
We bring solar energy and clean water to indigenous villages in the Brazilian Amazon — enabling families to thrive in their ancestral lands, preserve their culture, and continue protecting the rainforest: the heart and lungs of Mother Earth.
The Heart of Our Work
The Amazon rainforest is a vital lifeline for our planet, holding ancient wisdom, unparalleled biodiversity, and the power to regulate the Earth’s climate. But it is under threat — from deforestation, pollution, and the accelerating impacts of climate change.
For the indigenous peoples — the forest’s original guardians — the danger is not only environmental, but cultural. Without access to basic needs like light and clean water, families are often forced to leave the jungle for small towns, where they face discrimination, economic hardship, and the erosion of their traditions.
By ensuring these basic needs are met, we make it possible for families to remain in their ancestral lands, pass down their knowledge to future generations, and continue protecting the Amazon for all of us.

Our Mission
To empower indigenous communities in the Brazilian Amazon with sustainable access to light and clean water — enabling them to thrive in their ancestral territories, preserve their culture, and safeguard the rainforest.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which indigenous Amazonian communities are thriving in harmony with their environment — with access to clean drinking water, sustainable energy, and the tools to create livelihoods in the jungle.
Our goal is to provide resources that allow these communities to flourish in the 21st century and beyond as part of a global community, while maintaining their unique culture, heritage, and traditions. By meeting basic needs like light and water, we ensure families can remain in their territories, pass on ancestral wisdom to the next generation, and continue protecting the Amazon — the heart and lungs of Mother Earth.
Our Approach
🌞 Solar Power for Remote Villages
We install solar panels that transform life in the jungle. With sustainable energy, communities can:
Provide evening education for children and youth.
Create jobs by enabling artisans to produce crafts after dark.
Power fridges to store life-saving medicines like antibiotics.
Connect to basic internet for a few hours a day — improving logistics, emergency communication, and access to outside resources.
By bringing light, we create opportunity — allowing families to generate income, access healthcare, and strengthen their resilience without leaving the jungle.
💧 Clean Water Wells
For centuries, rivers provided safe drinking water for Amazonian communities. Today, pollution from boats, industrial waste, and climate change has made these waters unsafe — leading to illnesses, infant mortality, and stillbirths. In dry months, rivers run low or vanish, forcing families to drink from muddy pools.
We build artisan wells over 30 meters deep, tapping into clean underground water. Each well serves hundreds of people, ensuring safe drinking water for cooking, bathing, and daily life. Clean water means health, dignity, and the ability to stay in the jungle.
🌱 Rapid Relief for Natural Disasters
Climate change is bringing more frequent floods, droughts, and crop failures. We respond quickly with food, medical aid, and seeds for replanting — helping families recover and rebuild without being forced to abandon their lands.
Our Impact So Far
6 villages now powered by sustainable solar energy
3 villages now enjoying clean, safe drinking water
250+ families with reliable access to electricity
100+ families with permanent access to clean water
100% of projects implemented in partnership with indigenous leadership
Solar Energy – 6 of 44 villages powered (14%)
████░░░░░░░░░░ 14% complete
Clean Water – 3 of 44 villages with wells (7%)
██░░░░░░░░░░░░ 7% complete
Goal: 100% coverage — every single village with light and clean water.

Be Part of the Change
The Amazon cannot survive without its people. Together, we can ensure indigenous communities have the light, water, and resources they need to thrive — while continuing to protect the forest for all life on Earth.
The Kaxinawá Indigenous Region of the Alto Jordão River is home to 44 villages.
So far, we’ve brought light to 14% of them and clean water to 7% — but our vision is clear: every single village will have both.
Solar Energy → $10–15K per village
Artisan Water Well → $30K per village
With your partnership, we can ensure that every family in Alto Jordão has light to study, work, and communicate — and clean water to drink and cook— while preserving their ancestral home in the heart of the Amazon.
